Yes, you can cover a maximum of 42,000 miles per year with us – approximately 806 miles per week. If you use less than this in a week, it can be carried over to the next.
Our contracts are rolling, with a minimum rental period of 6 weeks. We require 2 weeks' notice before you return your vehicle, which can be given any time after 4 weeks of rent.
Yes, all vehicles are subject to a £500 refundable deposit unless stated otherwise. Half can be paid upfront, with the other half split over 5 weeks.
Completing our reservation form does not guarantee a vehicle has been reserved, as all reservations are subject to availability. Once you've completed the form, we'll be in touch to arrange a collection date if your selected vehicle is available.
We are based in London, with our head office at 7th Floor, Hyde House, The Hyde, London, NW9 6LH.
When you hire with us, you agree to pay the fixed rate set at the start of your contract for its full length. Prices for new customers can change over time, but existing customers are not automatically moved to new rates.
We need your PHV licence, PHV certificate, the front and back of your driver's licence, your National Insurance number, and proof of address.
We only offer PCO vehicles, meaning you must hold a PCO/PHV licence to rent from us.
No, all vehicles provided by PCO Rentals must be on our own insurance policy.
No, we need approximately 24 hours to get you on our insurance platform, so the soonest you can collect a vehicle is the following working day.
As the driver, you're responsible for any PCN or traffic contravention incurred while in possession of the vehicle. We charge a £24 admin fee for transferring a PCN to the hirer, which is refunded if a challenge is successful.
No, our vehicles must not be taken abroad under any circumstances.
Provided there's no outstanding debt or damage, your deposit is refunded 10 working days after you return the vehicle.
No, only the hirer is insured and permitted to drive our vehicles.
You must give us 2 weeks' notice via mobile or email. We'll confirm a return date, though this can be moved if you'd like to keep the vehicle longer.
If you have 6 or more points, we'll refer you to our insurers, which typically takes 24 hours and requires your licence details, PCO badge and National Insurance number.
Yes, drivers must be at least 23 and no older than 70. Outside this range, we'll refer you to our insurers for confirmation of cover.
Payments are taken weekly by direct debit. We have a zero-tolerance approach to missed payments; after two missed weeks, the vehicle will be recalled and recovery costs added to your account.
You're liable for any damage sustained while the vehicle is in your hire. If your agreement includes the insurance excess waiver, you won't be held liable, except for punctures, stolen charge cables, secondary vehicle hire or fraudulent claims.
Punctures aren't covered, so the cost of repair or a replacement tyre is down to you, though we can help point you to a location.
A replacement vehicle is strictly subject to availability. We have 24 hours to resolve an issue before credit is applied to your account if you must leave your vehicle with us.
Yes, additional mileage can be bought in advance at 0.10p per mile. Mileage over your allowance without prior purchase is charged at 0.18p per mile, and advance mileage is non-refundable.
We no longer offer rent-to-buy contracts, though existing agreements continue to be honoured.
Our vehicles are covered by the RAC, who can get a vehicle started but won't replace parts. The RAC doesn't cover recovery after an accident – this must be arranged at your own cost, though refunded in full if the accident is deemed non-fault.
Your ride-sharing app will notify you when an MOT is due, though it remains your responsibility to ensure it's booked. We service hybrids every 10,000 miles and EVs every 15,500 miles. PHV licence renewals are due yearly, with a £100 fine for missed appointments.
Yes, so long as you hold a TfL private hire licence and meet our eligibility criteria.
All our vehicles are congestion chargeable and registered to TfL's autopay. Drivers pay £180 into a congestion pot when collecting the vehicle, which is topped up or refunded based on usage, with a full refund within 14 days of the last TfL bill.
You're entitled to 1 week free for every 12 consecutive weeks rented, provided your account isn't in arrears and you've had no late payments. Simply email accounts@pcorent.com to redeem this.
Our vehicles aren't fitted with dash cams, but we offer a £50 incentive towards purchasing your own, which is yours to keep once you return the vehicle.
Our team is on hand Monday to Friday, 9:30am – 5:30pm, to help you reserve your PCO vehicle.
